Seabirds Feeding in Port Orford Cove (click on pics to see full sized)

August 4, 2004 ~ Seabirds Feeding. I came across this unusual scene during a recent visit to Port Orford's Battle Rock Beach. The Port Orford Cove was filled with hundreds of various seabirds feeding on a large school of fish that had congregated close to the shoreline. I visit Battle Rock Beach quite often and have never seen such a huge assortment of birds there.
