May 31, 2004 ~ Memorial Day weekend pictures of Port Orford's Battle Rock Park and Surfers at Hubbard's Creek Beach. Jerry and I celebrated the Memorial Day weekend by spending some quality time on Hubbard's Creek Beach on Saturday and Battle Rock Beach on Sunday.

Today's update features images from Saturday when we visited Hubbards Creek Beach. The first set of photos capture surfers working the curls, a few of the images show a kayak surfing the waves too. The Port in the background is the Port of Port Orford. The headland seen is the Port Orford Heads.

The next set of photos were shot while walking south on Hubbards Creek Beach.

When walking back to the truck we saw this beautiful Butterfly warming it's wings on the sand.

Below are some preview photos from my Sunday visit to Battle Rock Park. I will post more great pictures like these in my next Oregon Pics feature. (I'll try to have it online by early next week)
