On February 27, Jerry and I drove down to Battle Rock Park in Port Orford so we could take advantage of some early spring-like weather, a minus low tide, and the perfect for pictures late afternoon sun. I pointed my camera to the south towards Mt. Humbug and took the first set of pics below using different zoom settings.
Battle Rock Beach has great seastacks, the pictures below show a few of the big rocks that line the Orford Cove and shoreline.
We walked down the beach past the large seastack seen in the row of pics above and shot this next set of images. The first row of photos are views looking towards Hubbards Creek Beach. The second row feature views of Mt. Humbug with some roaring surf in the foreground.
