I thought I would start out today's feature with some images that I took right before we left for home. This first group of photos show some of the horror frost that clung to the foliage. My son Jacob and our boxer Jerry are in the last picture. This next group of pics were shot the next day after the frost had melted. I used some new imaging software and pieced together this panoramic view of the hills to the west of my mom's ranch. This next group of photos are for the fans of my brindle boxer Jerry Lee. On the way home to the coast we stopped at the Dean Creek Elk Viewing area located just about 5 minutes east of Reedsport on Highway 38. There were 4 Bull Elk within 20' of the parking area and a couple of groups a bit farther grazing in the misty meadow. I will try to post a new feature at least once a week so check back often.
